Who should contribute

Bring the experience.
Explain the lesson.

We welcome thoughtful contributions from professionals with relevant knowledge, whether you work independently, in-house, or at an agency.

Help readers do something better

Show a process, explain a decision, or investigate a problem. A focused beginner topic can work if it answers a real need with clarity; advanced articles should explain assumptions and technical details.

Make your perspective clear

Tell us what you did, what you observed, and where the limitations are. Distinguish first-hand results from opinion, estimates, and findings reported by other people.

Choose relevance over a headline formula

How-to tutorials, detailed guides, comparisons, and numbered lists are welcome when the format suits the topic. A “Top 10” or “Ultimate Guide” title is not a requirement. Check our blog before pitching an overlapping idea.

Pitch a specific angle within these areas. Evergreen subjects are welcome, and time-sensitive topics must be current and accurately dated.

Guest post submission guidelines

Quality comes from usefulness and accuracy.

Follow these standards when preparing an approved draft.

Original writing and human accountability

Submit your own original writing. We do not accept plagiarism, spun articles, lightly rewritten copies, or fabricated expertise. Tell us if a draft or substantially similar version has appeared elsewhere.

Our editorial policy does not accept AI-generated article drafts. Assistive spelling or grammar tools must not replace your analysis, factual checking, or authorship. This is Rankex Digital’s submission standard, not a claim that Google prohibits all AI-assisted content.

  • Identify the author and relevant experience.
  • Verify quotations, examples, and references.
  • Disclose material assistance or commercial relationships.

Depth, structure, and readability

Write enough to address the topic thoroughly without padding. Around 1,500 words or more can suit an in-depth guide, but there is no fixed minimum for every article and word count is not a ranking guarantee. Agree the scope with the editor after your pitch is accepted.

Use a clear introduction, descriptive H2 and H3 headings, short readable paragraphs, and lists where they improve understanding. Explain necessary terminology and keep the tone direct and practical.

  • Use keywords naturally within the explanation.
  • Avoid repeated paragraphs and keyword variations added for SEO.
  • Make the takeaway and next steps clear.

Sources, data, and examples

Cite reliable original sources for claims that readers may need to verify. Include dates and context for statistics, and explain the methods behind your own results. Do not present correlation as proof that one action caused an outcome.

If you discuss client work, obtain permission and remove confidential or identifying information where needed. Screenshots and examples should support the explanation rather than imply results that cannot be substantiated.

  • Link to the source that directly supports the claim.
  • Check that tools, interfaces, and guidance remain current.
  • Label hypothetical examples and estimates clearly.

Images and supporting materials

Use original visuals, public-domain material, or assets you are licensed to publish, with attribution where required. Images found online are not automatically free to reuse. Provide the source and permission or licence details with your submission.

A suggested featured image, an explanatory diagram, or a relevant video can help, but multimedia is not a requirement when it adds no value. Include captions and useful alternative text, and ensure screenshots do not expose private data.

  • Supply rights-cleared images in usable quality.
  • Provide relevant video URLs for editorial review.
  • Include permissions for your headshot and any client material.
Editorial links and attribution

Contribute for the reader.
Links are reviewed independently.

Publication does not include a guaranteed dofollow backlink, ranking benefit, or permanent link placement.

Author attribution

You may suggest one relevant website or portfolio link for your author bio. Inclusion, placement, and link attributes remain editorial decisions.

Useful source links

Use contextual links that help verify a claim or understand a topic. Avoid forced keyword-rich anchors, affiliate links, link exchanges, and promotional destinations.

Editorial control

Rankex Digital may edit, qualify, or remove links. If a commercial arrangement is considered separately, it must be disclosed and relevant links qualified with sponsored or nofollow attributes.

Not a fit for this programme

What we do not accept.

This contribution programme is for educational editorial content.

Copied, fabricated, or low-value content

Plagiarised or spun writing, AI-generated drafts, invented results, false credentials, outdated instructions, and articles that add no useful explanation.

Promotional submissions

Press releases, product reviews, affiliate links, disguised advertisements, and articles written primarily to place a backlink. Educational discussion of a tool is acceptable when it serves the lesson rather than a sales pitch.

Unrelated or unsafe material

Topics outside digital marketing and associated professional practice, confidential information, unlicensed assets, or instructions that encourage deceptive or abusive marketing.

How to submit a guest post

Start with a pitch.
Build the draft after approval.

Send your submission to [email protected]. Please do not send account passwords or private client records.

01

Send 3–5 ideas

Suggested subject: Guest Post Pitch | Your Topic | Your Name
02

Prepare the approved draft

After topic approval, share a Google Doc with appropriate viewing or commenting access, or attach a .docx file. Include source links and any necessary permission details.

Include: a 2–3 line bio, headshot, and optional social or website profile.
03

Work through editorial review

We assess fit, originality, accuracy, and readability. We may request revisions or edit for clarity, structure, sourcing, and search relevance.

Topic approval does not guarantee final publication.
Review and publication

A clear submission process.
Editorial approval comes first.

We aim to respond to suitable pitches within 1–2 business days, although response and publication times can vary.

Selection and revisions

Our editors may request additional evidence, a narrower angle, or changes to the draft. Submissions that do not meet the guidelines may be declined without an individual response.

Publication and attribution

If the article is accepted, we will notify you by email. Confirm the final author details and permissions for the submitted material. Any publication terms should be agreed before the article goes live.

Corrections after publication

Tell us if published information becomes inaccurate or a source changes. Rankex Digital may update or remove content and links to maintain editorial quality.

Give other marketers a practical process, useful evidence, or a better way to approach a problem.

Build a body of work

Contributor questions

Before you send your pitch.

Check the guidelines and choose an idea that fits our readers.

Email your topic ideas
Do you require a 1,500-word article?
No fixed length applies to every topic. Detailed guides often need that depth, but the editor will agree the scope. Do not pad the article to reach a word count.
Do contributors receive a dofollow link?
No link type or ranking benefit is promised. You may suggest an author website link and useful source references, all subject to editorial review.
Can I submit AI-generated content?
We do not accept AI-generated article drafts. You remain responsible for original analysis and verified facts; spelling and grammar assistance does not replace authorship.
Should I include “write for us” keywords in my article?
No. Write about the approved topic for its readers. Guest-post discovery phrases do not belong in unrelated article copy.
Can I pitch a case study or tool tutorial?
Yes, if it is educational, supported by evidence, and includes necessary permissions. We do not accept product-review pitches or disguised promotion.
Where should I send my pitch?
Email [email protected] with 3–5 ideas, an outline, and a short introduction.
